Sika is a specialty chemicals company with a leading position in the development and production of systems and products for bonding, sealing, damping, reinforcing and protecting. Their product Sika Flex (elastic sealant) is widely used by tradesmen and commonly found at Bunnings.
Sika engaged the creative team at A44 to capture two sit-down style interviews at their Perth office to contribute to a larger project celebrating ‘Sika Day’. We provided 4K footage, synced audio from a lapel microphone, and colour graded the footage before delivery. All of this completed within 24 hours!
Based out of the east coast of Australia, the Sika marketing department reached out to the A44 team to capture two sit-down style interviews at their Perth office in Bibra Lake. This footage will be used in a larger-scale internal video project for Sika Day, a day to celebrate Sika’s hard-working employees and their achievements at the company.
We set the scene with 3 points of lighting, captured the footage in 4K, and recorded audio from two sources. The subject had a lapel microphone hidden with a backup shotgun microphone above the camera. The two subjects of the videos, Belinda and Herman, had not had experience in front of a camera before so it was important that we made them both feel comfortable before we started.
The outcome
With our years of experience working with local businesses, we have developed a few tricks to get people warmed up in front of the camera. Belinda and Herman were great to work with and came well prepared, making the shooting process very smooth!
We provided Sika with the raw 4K footage and audio files, as well as two high-resolution colour graded exported video files. All of this shot and delivered within only 24 hours.
